South Korea’s agricultural sector faces acute pressures from a diminishing workforce, an aging population, and climate change, threatening national food security. In response, the government has prioritized smart agriculture as a strategic imperative (MAFRA, 2025). This paper provides a techno-strategic analysis for Chungbuk province, a vital agricultural region whose unique dual-economy—encompassing both broad-acre staple crops and high-value specialty products—presents a complex challenge for technology adoption. A one-size-fits-all approach is economically irrational for this context. |
